I learned that not all MN based remote employees that live within 25 miles of an office will lose their remote status. In some cases, if a team is small and has only a few members that fall into this target group, they will not be required to RTO.
WTH?
I am not in favor of the RTO - but if they are gonna do it, shouldn’t it be EQUITABLE?
Alert to those who got the letter with demand to RTO, there may be discrimination.

@1wk Sorry to hear this. Are you able to use the FAQ doc to challenge?
@a1 I got none but still got the email. I think they cleverly used “organization” as it can go to top of the chain
@b1 sorry you have no one home missing you all day. Enjoy your time alone in the office weirdo
@b1 They're so entitled. They get paid more than any other state because they're meant to be at the HQ sites. These deadwood MN staff are the reason the company is going down the shi1tter
I'm a one man team and I've been going in 4 days a weeks. Some MN co-workers are such snowflake babies ....
Is one of them a direct peer? If not, then idk. Go find the guidance and ask your manager to clarify why are you are included.
@a1 this can’t be right. I have fewer than five colleagues here and my butt has to drive in.
Does this rule apply to the engineers in India?
tell us more about how you figured this out? most likely someone who doesnt fall within the criteria...
I thought the guidance was pretty clear, you need to either be a director, have your manager/direct peer located there, or 5 colleagues from your organization located there.
If none of the above, you are likely not forced back into office.
