We've got an email 1:1 appointment with business objectives. I talked to others, at least 10 ppl. 15 years was not enough, for this beast.

@a1 It depends on geography. In the UK or EU, it begins with an invite to an unscheduled 1-2-1 with manager (or skip level if boss is also getting laid off).
Then they go through the "consultation" process, the length of which again depends on where you're employed.
So Saudi may have a 1-2-1 process (I don't know) but some geographies certainly do.
@a1 seems you are american living only inside America
@a1 Some managers are able to setup brief 1:1. It happened even in the US for the last layoffs
@a2 ..... or according to local labor laws.
The US folks will likely get poor treatment and quick termination of system access if they're "chosen".
European folks will have a much longer "consultation" period of several months.
Heard the same news in US. For some visa candidates managers have hinted the same. Not directly though
@a1 Only US is by email.
@a1 they do depending on geographic location and how close u were with manager = old classic school. Dignity
you are lying
that's not how Oracle operates, they don't do 1:1 anymore
