@b9 it depends on the region, I doubt they tell everyone impacted at the same day.
I was also told from a long term IC 10% tomorrow. Mainly managers. 10% Nov, IC/Mgr.
We shall see if that holds weight. The one confirmed was mgr level ist.
If it is really 8/31 we should start seeing a lot more noise soon. Otherwise this is just a one off.

I'm hoping they reduce Staffing down to about 15,000 over the next year. The company is carrying a lot of management bloat from prior acquisitions.
@am I'm hoping, I'm waiting now 3 years for my payout. Each time they had redundancies I volunteered...they had none of it. I'm hoping this time will be the time. PP is the worse and most woke place to work, also the Honey disaster showed their real character, I don't want to work for criminals....

@a1 every region has different laws, in the US the law and process is vastly different from Europe or APAC. Ireland has 8 weeks from announcing till out of the door, or officially from payroll books. They can't send people home after announcement and say it's garden leave, however they can the last 4 weeks. US depends on the state I think, and APAC I have no idea what laws they have in India, or China (if we still have people there). As well they have a 24hr shift in APAC for some departments.....
