@a9 Yup, the entire leadership, famed 'PEOPLE managers' are essentially MIA.
This is unbelievable, 2-3 years ago at least they - some of them - tried to manage emotions, be with their people, now it is deaf silence. This is nuts, they do the absolute opposite of what PEOPLE managers should do in the moment of need. Absolutely terrible leadership.
There could be some silent firing at play. Management pretending they don't give a sh-t and let motivation fall to the bottom. We get fed up, find a better job elsewhere and quit: redundancy payment avoided.
Win-win in their eyes.
But they lose all cred in the long term and no-one with an ounce of cop-on will ever want to work for them. Lose-loae, and to h-ll with them.
@a8 supposedly an email has gone to their effected and the number advised was 164 on this email

It's a very messy process this time around with no clear communication and honestly zero leadership to man this ship.
The fact that leadership and management are all playing mute is shocking
This is people's livelihood we are talking about. Have some transparency and put people out of their misery.
They are honestly a sh-t show of a company but I'm really now sure what us tech/finance company isn't a sh-t show at this point.
@a7 the original article that mentioned 33 people said it was 33 notified from a team of 120. I think maybe these numbers got conflated? But again I'm just guessing. It's all we can do when there's no communication to employees.
@a1 yea I'm confused, the 120 in the article makes no sense. I think that someone in DD went a day to early with informing the team, then someone informed a TD and that TD went to the press. The person giving info to the news then thought everyone has been informed. However it clearly looks like everyone working remotely is at risk, if they pick all the remote workers. However that is me guessing...like everyone else...lol

@a3 it’s not like performance is bad. Management is just clueless on how to innovate and execute.
@a2 we don't really care about the stock price rn, we care about being able to feed our families and about the lack of empathy from the one who supposedly cares about people.
If we're laid off, we sell all our stock, and then to h-ll if it hits the low 10s. We did an honest word for years, they ruin our families' lives: they can burn with their shares.
Do other employees even care about the price of our stock?
Does anybody have an unofficial count of how many people were notified today in ireland. Original article said 33 notified who I think were smb? Any other numbers?
