For god's sake, you Indians need to realize you are not special, and most of you are below average in ability. You do not have special skills. You only posses the ability of irrationally saying "yes" to everything, including lower compensation or taking on more work than you can handle.
That's it. It's as simple as that outside of nepotism of caste hiring the same caste.

@br you mean the CIO? it doesn't take a lot of courage or pride to be an exploited slave. Everyone can do that. And then just lose themselves to the corporation. And neither to the exploiters, either. It just waters down the quality of everything. If they stop doing it and actually hired on talent and secure and prideful we don't have the short sighted culture of burnout and not sleeping to work for a master.
Is leadership on H1B - stop putting misery on a distant variable - Fiserv has failed because the leadership apparently all domestic decided to scam Wall Street and take all kind of weird decisions. If you fail at strategy don't shoot the one who executes the malaised strategy.
H1B are satellites to outsource more.
How else are they gonna outsource with nobody speaking the cultural language of Jugaad or waking up at 4AM for no extra cost to sync up.
This question has been answered for years now - where have you been? It's all about the cost of labor and control. If you provide undying loyalty you are a patsy. The best you can do is out educate and experience your competition. Keep moving - do not stay put in a limiting relationship. If your not learning anything new your waiting to be replaced. Let the company suffer the onboarding cost of replacing you. Do you get 2 weeks notice when dismissed? You can leave at will same as when you're dismissed.
Since when has "fairness for all" been on the priority list around here?
