@a2 the March + April total was around 12k according to slack. The 21k number is from Oracle’s FY26 10k, and may actually not be complete because it also includes net hiring. ~30k is the reported figure for all of FY26.
I point this out because people should be comparing that ~12k number for how aggressive this round is, not 21k.
Well I can't speak for anyone else but it is currently 6:03 AM Eastern Time and I have not received an email saying I'm fired and I still have access to everything as usual on my laptop.

To get to the magic 90k it will need to be more aggressive.
