Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Reality check: Frank scammed both Mike and Takis

Stop slamming Mike. Stop prejudging Takis. They both got sc--wed. Neither of them would have taken the job if the knew that Frank built a house of cards. He left when the runway was running out. So he hired fall guys. Mike brought humanity to this company. But you can’t fix fraudulent earnings. Mike obviously supported Takis and made him co-president. Mike designed the strategy for a turn around which Takis upheld on the earnings call. Stop pitting and comparing Mike against Takis. The blame lies with Frank. The solution is to work together and deliver what this company is capable of.

@w6 just for the record, those of us from original Fiserv did not accept a job where part of our compensation was tied to the stock. FB changed everything after he somehow took over. He ki-l everything good.
I agree the blame lies with A-hole FB, but Mike didn’t care about employees who’ve been dragged through he-l and so far Takis hasn’t shown that he does. I work hard every day but Takis needs to prove himself. My merit increase would be a good start.

Looking back at threads on this very website, many people raised questions about the stock price and possible deceptive practices that were artificially inflated it. I, for one, am glad I listened and diversified. I would never in my life accept a job where a chunk of my compensation is tied to the stock price. And the little rinky di-k discount from the espp fund was not worthwhile. Then you would be walking away from tens of thousands of dollars if you decided to choose work life balance and sanity over Fiserv. It was never worth it.

I sincerely hope the stock price recovers for the sake of folks who are looking to retire soon. It is a d@mn shame that d!rtb@g Fr@nk will get away with this. And he gets to go off and destroy Social Security as his $cumb@g boss who is stinking up the Oval Office with the stench of that horrid burnt orange spray tan and destroying the country. I weep for Fiserv and our nation.

I am not a religious person. But I do believe in karma. FB will get his someday. A despicable, greedy, disgusting human being.

Capabilities of the company was stripped long ago. An echo of One Fiserv, Customers first, and AI to save the day has been repeated over and over. Ironically the person that should face the music has the worst voice. We don’t need new leadership. We don’t need new svps. We need flashy new C-suite hires’ money to pay for the employees that make the company function

Every SVP and above needs to go! Stop deep throating the people who drove this once great company straight into the ground.

Both are them are too smart and connected to have not known what Frank was doing behind the scenes. Heck, Takis was an SVP in the space that was the most fraudulent with Frank. Thinking anyone SVP and above OR someone coming into a CEO role can’t read the financial reports and understand the market is ridiculous. Mike used Fiserv as a stopgap for his non-compete from his last job, Takis is going to do some inorganic growth play and the transfer to be a Fintech CEO somewhere that benefits from whatever he does next.

CEOs are all similar parasites scraped off the bottom of the same MBA log.

I’m sick and tired of this site rushing to defend leadership. Meanwhile, employees are the ones actually pushing through the chaos day to day and making things work regardless of bad leadership at all levels. Talking about CEO like there’s this huge gap between them and us they don’t show us that kind of loyalty, so why should it flow the other way? I’ll care about leadership when I see tangible results: better morale, better pay. Until then, it’s just noise. PR strategies to get support is getting old.

@a3 exactly. Working harder or moving faster to execute a flawed strategy is not what we need. The issues at this company go back to leadership. Takis needs to clean house.

Most of this company has been working, and working, and working, and working sometimes the job or 2 or 3 people, don’t promise merit pay for meritorious work and instead give out $0 bonus, $0 merit and maybe, just maybe if you were one of the “lucky and well liked” ones who got exceeds you got an extra week of wfh.

I’m tired of hearing “we just have to work harder”.
