Anecdotally, I just put in my resignation notice. Thank you Bill, for your terrible RTO mandate. You inspired me to get a better job!

Yes we have lost several in our area. Senior devs / scrums / BSA / testers. The list goes on. For every 7 that have left we have gotten 1 vacancy fulfilled in return. We spend more time on training new employees than we do on actual work.

@a4 I heard a rumor about this very situation. I guess it wasn’t just a rumor after all. It’s sad they have to call back the employees they let walk out all because of their own BS policies.

It’s too bad people are leaving their jobs over this. Apparently it’s optional, unenforceable, and left to individual interpretation.

In my line of business we lost 20% or so and then had to do a "pause" until February.

We expect more then.

It's been brutal and we don't pay enough to entice people for an office role.

Quite a few people in tech have left over the RTO policy. The funny part is HR has recently been reaching out to people who’ve given notice, offering extra WFH days, and so far nobody’s taken them up on it.
