Stolen Ideas

Every time I bring up an idea my supervisor has someone else work on it and then pretends like it was their idea. How am I ever going to assess well when the feedback is always that you have to do more than your job description?

@OP Remember this: you have the well. They only have a cup of water. Let them take the credit. Let them enjoy the applause. Don’t waste your energy trying to expose them. A thief can steal what you produced, but they can’t steal the source that produced it. And thieves eventually meet the consequences of being thieves.

I actually think that the guy that stole my idea is starting to believe he came up with the idea. Maybe that is just how he is justifying stealing in his mind.

Most people, after repeatedly burning their hands on a hot stove, would learn to stop touching it. Not you. Keep on keeping on and who knows, maybe it'll pan out sooner or later...
