My manager got cut. My colleagues got cut. I feel extremely nervous every minute, just waiting for my turn. I’ve been trying to find another position, but it hasn’t been going well.
Sorry for venting. I’m trying to stay strong, but it’s not easy.

@OP All of what you say is true. Synopsys is a garbage and toxic company. This infects every nook and cranny now, as there is zero trust and zero communication throughout the ranks. Toxic companies do not deserve anything but contempt and they damage not only the lives of those who are laid off, but those who struggle on while they are planning their exits. Synopsys is death.
Remind of yourself it is just a job. You will find another one at some other place. Don't stress it too much. All shall pass.

Synopsis can not survive Western sanctions. Chinese companies are now taking over the world thanks to it.
You’re right – the way they have done this, causing everybody to be on pins and needles for months as they go through these painful layoffs, has been cruel to us all. Things will get better and you will get through this. Hang tight.
