Watch out for layoffs email during Labor Day weekend
Some exec probably needs a new yacht. Sad that they say they need money to build data centers when they paid out 350M the new co-CEOs. Do you really thinks Clay and Mike will do more work than the 21,000 ppl laid off?
@af lmfao. They all get their unnamed sources from this. Please do you honestly think anyone is answering a phone call from them
@av Business Insider 'posted' ...
@af And someone posted the link to reddit too. Not sure which was posted first, but that news is getting around.
@a3 Business Insider is a real organization. The source is not this website.
Believe this to be accurate.
They do not have the revenue for the headcount in my org.
They do not have the revenue for the management tree in my org.
@a5 It’s sounds significant. It has to be to get them out of the whole the dug.
The reporter won’t write something like this if she hasn’t seen the doc.
“The cuts could reach double-digit percentages on some teams, according to the document. The company has requested managers provide lists of affected employees, with the intention of reducing payroll by the time the second quarter begins on Sept. 1, according to one of the people with direct knowledge.”
@OP and the sources are this board I assume. So no weight in this what so ever other than we know every year we have layoffs and it’s same time each year. It’s like a big echo chamber you are posting what’s already known and from here.
