Stankey is a sociopath. I took an offer in July after 45 years. The company treated me fairly and their benefits and support are above average imo. The problem is that this company has no idea of what’s going on. I believe that they’ll be acquired and parted out. When the CWA contracts are up… that’ll be the end of the line for techs. Wish you all well.

Ok great goompa, you’ve pi---d your diapers time to get you to the home. Fu--ing 45 years? And wonder why the company is so fu---d?
@br Musk.
@cb Who are you to tell someone else what they should do with their career. P*$$ off
@bm , they’ll sell it off piece by piece…at fire sale prices.
We are hemorrhaging talent and shoving people into positions they are undertrained and under qualified for.
There are plenty of people who have worked full careers here, are retirement eligible but have reasons to stay. Why exactly should people leave after 45 years if they have more to learn & share? Or if they joined young and need the healthcare until Medicare kicks in! Hopefully we all live long, healthy and productive lives. At some point, I hope we’ll all be 45 years into a satisfying career and continuing be a productive member of a workforce & society.
45 years????? u should have retired long ago.
@OP Thank you for retiring. I’m a mobility tech and I can honestly say the old guys don’t want to do much or learn new information. My state is changing though, lots of the old timers are finally retiring. 45 years?? I’m 45 now!
Buy this company and it’s MASSIVE debt load ? Someone and their board would have to be stupider than Stankey himself . Good luck finding someone like that.
they would love to sell the company but their are no buyers out there who want this mess. Who wants to buy a company that has 150 billion of debt plus a union to deal with. No one is stupid enough to touch this sh*t show. They don’t need it.
Company knows mobility and fiber. Not much but good enough.
@a5 why??
Go Stankey!
Your extremely bitter opinion has been noted.
