Mid year Review & Internal Postings

I was given my first ever below meets at midyear (completely undeserved) and am wondering how much this messes up my chance at getting another position in the company. Hiring managers: are you able to view the mid-year reviews for all job candidates during the interview process?

I was the 1 of 7 on my team instead of the one we all know should’ve gotten that rating as the team has had to carry him continuously. But he’s the one-ups personal pal so he wasn’t going anywhere. I celebrated by giving notice and ignoring this person’s emails and pings because he’s panicking no one will be there to baby sit anymore and they’re gonna realize he hasn’t actually done much. Have fun!

@a1 your words will
Find a way back to you. Can’t wait and hope you’re on the wrong side of that discussion soon!

@a5 IM only applies to the bottom tier of employees (10-15% and they are only letting go ~10% a year). It doesn't seem too hard to stay off the bottom rung. You dont need to outrun the bear, you just need to not be the slowest of the bunch.

There’s is now a fully established pattern to all of this insanity: the IM rating (either fake or legit) is THE sign that they’re going to get rid of you at year end or in early 2027. Folks will come on here and deny that’s happening but they’re troll posting. It’s real, it’s happening, and it’s been happening for awhile now. Only going to get worse too. I hope you are able to find something, somewhere else because WF is going to discard you. Run.

@a3 15%, to be precise: 1 out of 7 get the IM.

@a1 tell that to the thousands of people who were given a lower rating this year only due to forced stacked ratings.

Yes, they are visible.

The biggest problem you have, though, is that you think it's "completely undeserved."
