@bg I hold value as well but I can also see the red flags ahead of me and opted for vsp. I sincerely hope that your hope in your own value keeps you from getting laid off. Hope springs eternal. Good luck.

Piece of advise for those that are angry and took the VSP, next time read …. And not just read between the lines because they put it in plain English ….
@ad Most employees who accepted the vsp leave knew what they were doing. Not everyone is a mo--n. The verbiage was in plain english. Generalized verbiage yes but people who weighed the pros and cons knew what they were signing. The emotionally stunted panic driven people are the ones who are on these posts looking to sue, looking for lawyers etc.

Took me a minute. Well played.
@a6 Lawyer here, I tried to warn people in advance of the uncertainty in the VSP offering language. That is the main reason I could not even consider it, even though I may have otherwise. People on here and at work charged headlong and now have buyer's remorse. If you have concerns and need someone to explain a document, you consult somebody before signing.
@a6 Anyone who has taken this will be listed as “voluntary.” Confirmed with HR assistant during the decision process.
There really is not anything a lawyer will take on here. The vsp had many many "could be, may be, not guaranteed" wording. Centene was super sneaky with all of this. As soon as I opened it and started reading the "may" words and that the legal wording is this is the employee agreeing to resign on or around a date to be determined - RESIGN.. so in most states, you can not take unemployment.
