Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Ai agent on IT support for employees.

How is your experience?
For me it's been 3 weeks unable to access Oracle network. My ticket is still awaiting resolution and my colleague is following up on behalf of me. I didn't work for nearly 2 weeks.
Ai agent is keep generating responses that is not resolving the issue.
Calls to talk to a real human is taking a long time.

Most of IT was let go in the March 31 RIf, Clay indicated that people should be able to figure things out while he hides in his office in Nashville. Post to it-support, actually read and try what the AI bot tells you to do. Do not expect a 'human' to be available to help you, there is a backlog of of 30K+ unresolved tickets and the number keeps growing. You need to READ, follow instructions from MyHelp that the AI bot gives you, search for your issue in it-support and you might find your answer there. And dont get pi---d off if you happen to get a support person to help you, it was not their decision to lay everyone in support off, they are probably wishing they had been laid off too. Many of my friends that are still there are tired and overworked, if they had another gig they could go to they would do it. They are looking while still getting paid, but soon as they get that other gig they are out of there. "Don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya."

@OP
Open a ticket letting them know that the support system isn't working.

@OP, you must not be following the AI agent's instructions/recommendations correctly.

@at Before AI, you at least got a ticket number for your issue that you can use to follow up upon.

Sounds exactly like before we had AI.

@ab That's a good question - and OP and others in his position had BETTER be getting paid and not forced to use their PTO for this. Hopefully he got his manager involved to try to help with this.

Exactly the same for me. IT ticket open 3 weeks ago without response. AI isn’t solving it.

If you don't work for 2 weeks, doesn't your boss say something?

We had IT teams in each campus/building based on city/country one is located. After Covid, they removed lot of these teams and created one big centralised team on slack . It was useless and like the above 2 posts, people had to wait for weeks unless you know a M3 or above in that group to fasten things.
Now with AI, they removed remaining I guess. Everything is integrated with SSO and SSO doesnt work, no one can do anything.

@a2 try to write complete sentences... I realize that this is a high expectation.

I had an issue with unable to login to SSO. Waiting for someone to fix it lost 2weeks of work :-/. A previous request to return a laptop was raised in February with still no response. Utterly useless internal IT support these days. The company must be losing many $.
