There was a post on the r/IBM Reddit page this morning that has since been removed by the executive team's flying monkeys. The post discussed 17 products being sold by IBM to Persistent and didn't go into further detail as the person who posted it was worried about being outed. Has anyone else heard this rumor?

@kh LOL. They actually have 1 white guy. His title is: "General Counsel"
He must have some kind of extreme leverage or something. Very surprised he can survive all the Curry he's surrounded by.
Persistent stealthily replaces teams, with AI (all Indians). they aren’t doing a formal outright acquisition. Same end result for Americans and Europeans.
Some useful info. here, plus, videos!

A fire sale to payoff the debts they accumulated buying other companies ?
I keep hearing about Persistent. Is IBM actually selling the products to Persistent like we sold Lotus to HCL a few years back? Or just outsourcing the dev/support teams to Persistent (IBM employees get rebadged) but IBM still owns the SW? Does anyone know?
IBM is constantly selling off software and sometimes the people with it.
That isn't news in itself.
@aa As long as there is no specific information disclosed, no worries.
@a8 It’s a rumor. Of course if it IS removed, well then I guess we know it’s true.
If that is IBM Confidential information not released to the public then I suspect this post will be deleted too.
Yup- fire sale is starting up
