Thread regarding USAA layoffs

Pulse

Apparently it looks like the participation is higher here on this forum than on Pulse.

Put the MFn leadership on blast here. Fu-k em. Make them get mental help for their mental illness issues cuz you gotta be pretty mentally stupid to give a third world fu-k about pulse feedback. Yet they wear the feedback on their sleeve. Fu-k em. If they smoking weed, shout it out here. USAA should start dr-g screening the a-s leaders that would drop some dead wood. That’s what happened at wells. They to quit.

For fear of retaliation, I don't respond to Pulse. I once responded to it when I had something good to say about my manager. Retaliation is real at this company even though they say otherwise.

Juan is the reason Pulse surveys moved to once per year. But hey, keep spending your own money on dog shirts.

I've seen managers try figure out who wrote the feedback. And If they don't know exactly, they'll operate on their suspicions. Power matters way more than the feedback here.

@ce like another comment, I too found out first hand. I wrote about my manager and how she micromanaged us and catered to her friends who all hung out outside of work and how she would make us use PTO if our aux/acw time for the day was over 7 minutes. She confronted me on that a few weeks later and even put me on a 10 month verbal warning for “coming back late from lunch” … at the time, our lunch was 35 minutes, I would log back in 1-2 minutes late. I went to HR, but they only said “timeframe is manager discretion.”

I was able to beat the verbal, stayed at my desk all day, even logged back in from lunch at 33 minutes, the verbal fell off on 12/31/2019, first chance I got, applied out on 1/2/2020, and went to my new role beginning of February 2020.

@ad I never trusted it, despite all the “assurances” that it was anonymous.
