@OP because everything move by the company is designed to reward those at the top. They save billions offshoring jobs to places where they can pay people a small percentage of what they pay Americans, even as the output suffers. Then they pass on those savings to a handful of executives. That’s capitalism, baby.

It would be well over 3.3M. Years of service are uncapped at his level. The man was definitely on over 3.3M per year. There are also additional months added for years of service.
Yes I have seen the exec RIF plan for RIFs and how it stands vs. VPs, Director, and then below Director.
