Remember and pass it on, HR isn't there for you, they are there to protect the company, if what they do benefits you somehow it's because whatever was going kn was going to hurt the company more somehow.

I dont think we have a hr department anymore. No live people to talk to. No representative for each department. Only a chat box.

I can remember when HR would only forward "minority" applications and resumes based on Affirmative action... then that term was deemed racist so they called it DEI... but it is the same old BS ... starting about 20 years ago they started promoting tons of women into upper management and executive lvl positions .... What a effing mess that turned out to be. Then during the same time all the business side got jealous of the DP's salaries that my friends was the beginning of the end for systems ... I have never seen so many dum--ss women that had zero clues... SF should have stuck with test ... you older folks will remember those

Not only are the managers racists, they age discriminate and are homophobic. So much for diversity and inclusion!

Are you referencing someone in InfoSec? We have one here too that is so bad but im scared to report it because of the toxic execs.

@em i was not talking about managers but colleagues at statefarm. Therefore YOU are the cancerous problem.

@e7 disagree, the incompetent ones I had were white, black, indian (manily spouses of the competent engineer). So obviously its a general competency and hiring practice problem

I agree. I had a Hispanic manager and that person had it out for white people.
