How many outreach, Demmand generation do specialist teams do?
Most just wait for the partner or AM and SE to message them

Hit the nail on the head, but it’s even worse. The generalist portfolio sellers (AEs and SEs) have grown lazy and arrogant, steadily hemorrhaging market share to competitors.
Instead of firing the complacent portfolio reps and bringing in hungry talent, executives destroyed the Specialists—the only group that actually knew how to win against real competition. Total detachment from reality.

@f4 r u stupid? The first 3 weeks of training is "how to own the deal". Fu--ing unreal they think this is how to help the specaliasts transisiton.

- People will be frustrated
- People will leave of their own accord, IE no pay out
- People won't perform, they will be PIPed, again be managed out without a pay out

LFG is the fruit of folks who have no clue about our portfolio, who have never sold anything reasonably complex to anyone, and who convinced themselves specialists never visit customers. They believe that robbing Peter to give Paul solves poor product quality and makes everything work better together. Incompetence at its peak.
