Notification Meeting

Before we proceed with anything, I’d like to inform you that managers will receive an invitation from HR to attend a training session. This session will provide information on when employees will be notified and what managers need to do next.

Have any managers received this invitation yet?

Not necessarily - my manager told me on that during the March RIF, he only found out the night before who was going to be cut. He was also told not to reach out to them afterwards - if they contact him, that's okay, but he can't call them.

No training, no notification, no involvement. These cuts and decisions are being made at much higher levels - ground level managers have no input.

@ah yes, however the notifying manager is still informed and has steps to do after the employee receives their email. That’s the training that’s done by HR usually a couple of days before the notification date.
