Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

Under 2 year of service

Anyone know what happens to employees who didn’t qualify for VSP because they have less than two years of service? Are they basically safe for now, or just not being considered until the next RIF round?

@d6 Because information eventually trickles down to certain levels for execution. When it does, some of those people can't hold water, even when they find clever ways to say it without saying it. I brushed off certain things that were shared as a "possibility," but all of it made sense once the layoff happened. I just didn't putting the pieces together sooner.

was RIF’d right around my one-year mark, so unfortunately, having less than two years doesn’t necessarily mean you’re safe. I honestly have no clue how they decide who gets let go, but I’d recommend keeping your resume updated just in case.

Everyone who didn't take VSP and wasn't part lf RIF last week are safe at least for the next couple months. In the meantime, keep upskilling and resume up to date. Document all accomplishments and things to add to your resume. Always be ready to shift!
