Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Ted Lasso?

Anyone else see the instagram post where MW claims to be inspired by Lasso? Cause that tracks.

Ever get tired of the whiny snowflake rumor, gossip, backstab type posts that have nothing to do with layoffs, getting a better job, other employment options, etc. etc. but make CVX employees appear to all be spoiled nepo children with unlimited free time at work?

Why am I not surprised MW spends too much time watching tv and too little running the company.

We can all admit that trying to leverage Ted Lasso as a role model is a far stretch. Anyone who is able to play in the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, flying around the world in his Gulfstream, having private security/entourage is far from being able to relate to John Doe.

Ted would never act like our c-suite. It’s really a slap in the face to those writers and actors that bring that show to life.

The show is absurdly positive and uplifting, which is the complete opposite of how they treat us.

As bad as the YouTube video of him sitting on the back of a truck acting like a regular guy.
