Anyone hear if layoffs are happening in the October timeframe?

My dream scenario would be to cut all the people who are carrying the team and don't touch the brown nosing lazy people who kisses a-s to their boss.

Preparing for huge layoffs at leadership positions in October. Especially vulnerable at new Associate Directors, Directors and leaders who have less than ten direct reports.
I'm hoping it's me August. If not September.

@ar welcome back Ferrari guy!!! Hans really does need one... along with a good burger 🍔. In all seriousness though, if not layoffs happen till October I would be shocked. It seems like every other pay someone is getting axed. So get your resume ready and look at the market in your area... plan accordingly. I'm hoping I get a package, working for my current manager su-ks.

He believes AI and robots are the future.
I believe they will continue to close stores and satellite offices to downsize. I predict when they stop laying off people we will have less than 65k V-Teamers. Eventually within or at 10 yrs we will have a workforce of about 50k to 40k employees and hold. The only factors that could change things are we get bought out by SpaceX or T-Mobile US if they merge with T-Mobile Europe.
Plus between the late 2025 layoffs and the recent one that hit retail hard, they were closing corporate stores in smaller cities.

I sure hope not. I make an outstanding salary but have absolutely zero skills. I don’t really want to flip burgers for a living.
I would not be surprised if there were layoffs each month until the end of the year

I'm hoping they don't hit my group till then but who knows... the way they are cycling through departments it could be any pay week at this rate.
