Joined FIS not long after Covid, things were honestly great the first year or so. Got to own things, got to work on innovative stuff. But then came the reorgs and senior leadership changes. The rest was history, everything went to sh-t for the next 3-4 years. I knew I should’ve left by year 3, but a combination of personal reasons and getting too comfortable kept me procrastinating. With all the layoffs this year I knew I couldn’t put it off anymore. thought the market would be sh-t but it’s actually not as bad as everyone make it seem. Got a couple offers within a month. I’ve been working at the new gig for about a month now, and holy sh-t has it put things into perspective. I knew FIS was disorganized but honestly it looks like a bunch of middle schoolers running a corporation looking back. And they treated their employees like human garbage, barely even count as a number, that takes a toll on your mind and body. So guys unless you’re not far from retirement, start applying TODAY, get out of there for you and your family’s sake.

I was listening to my SIL yesterday talking about how it was employee appreciation week at her job and what they were doing for their employees. Wow, our company really missed the boat on handling employees.
@OP FIS employees are adults and can make their own decisions, we don’t need words of wisdom from some lifestyle guru who decided to leave and so thinks everyone else should do the same.
I like many other am quite happy at FIS, if that changes, i’ll look elsewhere.
So, those that don't leave on your timetable are automatically human garbage? You are an absolute bootlicker. Obviously, the continued exposure to the polish fumes has withered your brain.
I'm going to stick here as long as possible, collecting checks, doing very little work, and carrying a miserable attitude about FIS until my fat severance is ready. You'll just have to find a way to live with it.

I really hope that people who are unhappy and still employed by FIS, are looking for a replacement job rather than just setting for being human garbage forever. The market may be tough and it might take a bit, but at least there would be a brighter future. This company is a dead end and shows no signs of getting better.
I'm glad you were able to get out, but unfortunately the job market isn't as kind to everyone as it was to you.
