Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

TIS is a joke!! That’s why good people are leaving in droves!!! Truist has a horrible reputation in the industry. Just waiting for the regulators to start dropping bombs.

It’s bad in supervision. Actually it’s bad in all of TiS. We just reorgd again and basically went back to the exact structure we had a year ago, minus a few managers that were still offed and a couple good folks leaving. What’s old is new again. Recycle old ideas when your new shiny org chart doesn’t work. It does get tiresome. Morale is in the toilet. Maybe they will outsource all our jobs that India soon if they can get it past finra and we will all get packages.

The entire company has had a lot thrown at them in the past couple of years. Nobody appears happy, nobody appears hopeful, and everybody seems very anxious about Truist’s future. Senior and executive leadership across the enterprise appear to be either completely out of touch, incompetent, just plain self-centered je-ks, greedy, or all of the above. I’ve been with this company over 20 years and I just don’t recognize it anymore.

@a2 Couldnt agree more! It’s the same experience in my area. One mess after another is being created by Sr. Leaders. Morale is out the window in general. We will continue to lose good talent until this place gets turned around

Morale was high at metger. My business unit in TIS had high morale right up until end of 23. Some leaders axed and it’s been downhill since. Now more leaders axed again last year and it’s a total mess. Morale has never been lower. Most of us laugh at leadership (all the way to top of TIS). They are always apologizing for existing and have no backbone and it’s just rif and yet rif. Reorg after reorg. It’s a mess and a joke. All the best leaders in my space were rif’d a while ago and it’s just a big joke now. I collect my paycheck and do the bare minimum. No morale or motivation to do anymore.
