1 day per month, for a team meeting.
I went back to twice a week
@OP we are supposed to go 3 days per week. I rarely do mostly 2 days/ week. What a waste of fing time….i use vacation days and just don’t go in ….one foot out the door retirement is calling.

3 days since Labor day of last year...despite our organization now being half remote due to office closures and some team members forced to change offices making their commute 4+ hours
My manager insists that we come into the office three days a week and spend the full 9–5 there.
Meanwhile, she’ll avoid talking to us face-to-face and communicate only via Slack or Webex while sitting on the same floor.
There are crazies on both sides—the far left and the far right.
The days I go to the office I don't even see the few people that I work with face to face. It's all Slack, email, Meet and Webex, just like at home, but with many more distractions and no private bathroom and water that may or may not be properly filtered.
The RTO push come from middle managers that don't like their home life and like to see their minions butts on seats so they can survey their kingdom.
Notice that the overall RTO policy for the whole company was twice a week but some execs proclaimed "no, three days a week because I said so".
It's a complete waste of time and money propped up by a dying breed of dinosaurs.
Followed the hybrid for a bit then even managers left at noon. So why bother.
Being hybrid requires us to go 3 days. I know there are people who get away with not having to do that.
@OP I work 5 days a week and do my assigned work accordingly. The company pays me for that.....anything else who cares as long as the work gets done. .......if this is what you worry about then you and your role have bigger problems
I haven't gone to the office since 2011 or so.
- I would love that BT adjustable desk but I'm in Europe. My team is all over the continent.
@OP 0 since we were sent home in 2020. Never met anyone on my team in all those years because we are spread out all over the US. After Verizon shipped the nice Bluetooth height adjustable desk I kinda figured this was locked in. So far no one has seen the need to change it since we would still be communicating the exact same way. Why put more people on the roads adding to the congestion and pollution if it only wastes resources and hinders efficiency and productivity? I am shocked that some people would have a reason to go into an office unless their team is all in the same office. I am even more surprised that anyone is forcing it to happen. Probably an unpopular response for some to read but it is what it is.
How many hours a week would be a more accurate question.
