Get with the program. You just have to put your name to the DXC job. Send an email now and then and collect a pay check. The higher up the company the fatter it gets. Meanwhile continue doing your actual job which is elsewhere.

His attracted good people like Ho11y to report to him. Can't see him being the one to take a step down.

I’ve often wondered what the board is like and what they’re hoping to do with this company if they are happy, and they obviously are, to appoint a man who has overseen rapid decline in profits and share price over the last three years.
They surely can’t be getting much of a return on their investment can they?
This isn't the uk government, you can't just bully rich men out of their positions on a whim.
That's the Board's job.
