From what I can tell, some of the "layoffs" have been making people that were on the PayPal payroll take employment through an outsourced. I have noticed folks in BLR start having CW by their names. While they likely are doing some cuts, they may be shifting a lot of people over to outsourcing.
@a3 curious as to when tomorrow is based on the post time. Also. Was it a bcc meeting with your team?

@bd this company is majority owned by institutions and they do all kinds of shady deals.
@b3 what you said doesn't make sense. the shareholders have the final vote on whether to agree to the price. If its not high enough, no-one will agree. Pointless in trying to keep it low. It doesn't benefit anyone.
@a3 🙏 remember if they let you go, this is a bottom tier company and you will be ok. At this point I almost feel sorriest for anyone of us that is not laid off

@OP in europe they have to give some kind of notice i am not sure if its all countries but i bet its a lot of them.in NA there is no requirement for this so we should see it first in NA
I think Enrique is purposely trying to keep share price low for a cheap sale. He’s probably promised a “consulting” job at Stripe when it’s all settled. Everything the guy does (or I should say doesn’t do) keeps the share price down.
