Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Is Wells Fargo getting into cryptocurrency?

Is Wells Fargo going to start allowing customers to purchase cryptocurrency like Bitcoin and some sort of stable coin? If this is real when will this happen and how?

Although accounts can accept crypto, trust me I've seen it, it was always in small amounts. But not without flagging the transaction and Fraud keeps really close eye on those accounts. They are a liability in terms of what the money is being used for as far as the potential for illegal things as that is harder for banks to track, but can become problematic with the Feds there is nefarious goings on. I've seen multiple accounts closed due to a business decision that had crypto going in abd out of it.

Earnings would look a lot better if he embraced WFH and cut costs that way.

@aj Don't underestimate Wells' appetite for risk. CS is desperate to get earnings to appease shareholders.

WFA already filed for a copyright on a stable coin product earlier this year. That was in the news. When it would be rolled out is anyone’s guess.
