Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

PI Updates

Any new organizational updates from PI?

Another 10% is leaving on top of all the layoffs this year already. Any word on additional RIF?

A couple ppl have been able to move their VSP date which seems crazy. We were told Dec 11 but several have now moved to 9/4.

Some new teams have already been formed while some remain untouched with no new direction. Are we sitting ducks? Our leaders are leaving and we aren’t being told anything.

Anyone else here being told anything at all?

Also KT suing Centene? And naming KC?

Hello! I think PI is safe for now after everyone takes their VSP. They had more than expected apply for it, plus we went through that restructure in early July. I think we were all given the December 11th date from my understanding due to the needs of the department.

@OP Not true. You can't change your VSP term date.

@a8 I have heard this also. I plan to request as well. I’m sure it’s up to Centene discretion like everything else but I suspect I will be denied.

@ad I called HR also. They said the VSP date is set and isn't changing, but I don't feel confident. It seems like they could easily say the needs of the company changed and your new exit date is ... I mean, nothing is signed.
