I feel it every time my manager sends a passive-aggressive email. But walking out without something solid lined up is a risk I can't afford to take. The market is uncertain, to say the least, and jobs are scarce. My advice? Do your research, ask the tough questions, and don't leave until you have a signed offer.

You know, people say jobs are scarce, and sure, they are, but everybody I know is leaving for promotions and significant raises. You work for Medtronic. You're going to get a job. Don't be afraid.
Let them lay you off.
Force them to lay you off. Do bare minimum. Don’t get fired. Get the package.
