@VP Why does VZ waste money promoting internal employee videos, newsletters, emails on internal website, most employees do not have time to watch list, read, listen but do their 8 hour work.Personally, I work on my feet, not at a desk,yet local manager sends out emails I don't read until days, weeks later, unless I take my lunch.

@d6 wow. I think you must be a recently hired in the last 10 years to suggest VZW “made all the money”. Wireless milked the wireline side for a decade or more. Pinched all the assets and sold it off. Wireless spent all the money never recouping anything. 5G was a complete smoke and mirrors failure. Why do you think they bought the wireline back. Verizon Wireless hired some completely incompetent and clueless people. It becomes more visible every time I read a post like yours.
@bh Yeah that's never going to happen. VZW made all the money, and once they started merging, all the leadership from Verizon booted out the leadership at VZW because they could and didn't want to compete for a job. And surprise, they didn't know how to run VZW. They just wanted to start an "agency" that we didn't need and years later here we are.
My direct just first care. He constantly b$tches about how terrible Verizon and can’t wait to get back to the real Verizon, Verizon wireless.
- It's mostly for the Sr Dirs and VPs to present "their" achievements to the execs above them to maintain visibility and justify their existence.
- Don't bother processing that cr-p. Set up filters to mark it as read, label it as corporate junk and archive it, so you can search it if ever needed. You can even use Gemini to set up those filters for you.
No one, except the most chronic bootlickers, is trying to do 8 hours of daily work for sh---y Verizon.

@OP You read it during work hours. Find it hard to believe that anyone that works for VZ doesn’t have time to read the slop they send out. Although some of it can be informative.
My supervisor told me watching those were a waste of time. “There’s nothing to learn about Verizon from this cr-p”. He also tries to get me to scam my customers into cell phones they don’t want. NY CSSC
