Is the L3Harris scandal about to hit 3M and Bill Brown?

Some interesting chatter is coming out of Florida this week.

Word on the street is that the independent investigation into ousted L3Harris CEO Chris Kubasik isn’t just looking at his recent behavior. Apparently, investigators are digging into old HR complaints from 2021-2022 to see who else knew what was going on.

As most of you know, 3M CEO Bill Brown was the Chairman of L3Harris back then and engineered the merger with Kubasik. The rumor going around internal circles is that some senior executives are worried paper trails or emails might surface showing that Brown was warned about Kubasik's conduct years ago.

Not good for 3M if true. I hope it's not true.

BB knew exactly what Chris K was up to and ignored his antics. He protects the people he likes. If this is thoroughly investigated it will come out that BB knew what was going on.

The 3M Board did nothing while Roman erased over 10 years worth of value during his tenure. I doubt if they have the fortitude to do anything about BB unless a big scandal comes out publicly (like M. Vale).

@bn couldn’t agree more…. and any diligence the 3M board would have done when they were hiring him would have exposed the same.

Sad reality is because the stock is performing right now they will sit quietly and not do a darn thing. Money makes even the board turn their head the other way. Shameful the toxic culture he is creating and how he treats people yet nothing will change.

Anyone who has ever spent more than 30 seconds with Bill knows that he's a slimy reptile only looking out for himself.

His reputation at L3Harris was atrocious, and now he's up to the same old shenanigans here at 3M.

Of course he's going to tarnish 3M.
