@fk those JPM/Citi managers who joins FactSet are probably losers in their respective previous firms, maybe didn’t get promoted or got politics over there, if they doing so well why did they come over to this clear “losing to AI” SaaS type of industry? Probably to build their own empire and bossing people around.
Bob Stole says “he’s enjoying since the day he joined” with a straight, poker face. How convincing. One day AI can even do better facial expression, be more empathetic, answer questions than them.
@pp ELT need to decide what they want to be a company - AI, Data, Analytics, Research, Enterprise, and so on - it changes each day. There are no real structures anywhere especially in RCS
@fk some of the old guard at L4 are so stuck in their ways from 15-20 years ago
JPM/Citi to bring in own middle management talent 4 sure. Homegrown Directors/VPs once revered now seen as weak/ineffective and on chopping block. Tenured seen as a dead weight. Poor leadership. Tick tock.
Feels like Snow 2.0 with a different accent. .. just keeping moving the pieces around. Bring in a few JPM type execs .. rinse .. repeat … in a few years .. new CEO or PE. There is no growth strategy.
@br agreed - they want them focused and not thinking about changes yet. Theirs will come after products next week.
They eventually merge growth and RCS once the new ELT starts. That org is outdated across all departments. Foresee that happening in Q1
What are you hearing?
Product reorg still in flight, probably waiting to see how close to goal we are before deciding amount to cut.
They probably want every sales person focused until after August
