VSP Tax Withholding

is there any way to opt out of the tax withholding for the VSP? I understand the possibility of owing next April, but that’s not my current concern. I am in Florida, so no additional state withholding.

@bs would not suggest that. Pay your taxes upfront and avoid any headache with Uncle Sam

I'm exempt on my W4 and I hope it applies to the VSP, I'm going to apply the "better ask for forgiveness rather than permission" motto to this one😆

Withhold taxes then claim bankruptcy. Do what centene will do in a couple of years lol.

The answer to your question is YES. You can avoid tax withholdings by claiming EXEMPT on your W4. Now, would I suggest you do that. NO.
