Will Dan lay off the entire Indian workforce, despite its established presence in India since 2000? Many employees appear to have been quietly removed by senior directors and HR. This raises serious concerns about the future of the Indian workforce and the organization’s long-standing presence in the country.

@ey Unfortunately!! Dan needs to clean house in GTS exec ranks. Hit the reset button and replace them all.
@bt shankar's cronies including vivek are still around to cover.
They ran the numbers. Because of the hierarchical teams, one principle engineer does not code but "design" then asks mid engineer to code. Two brains are still more expensive than one mid engineer in onshore. More expensive when two wrong design and code do not make a right, then the issues just drag for days.
Send em all back asap!
Shankar is not there to protect them!
@a1 you get what you pay for. See how tremendously it worked out for managed services outsourced to India.
@az Let's hope this is true and double down on boycotting or severely reducing consumption of services provided by corporations who sell out domestic jobs for labor arbitrage.
The more outsiders and customers are finding out Americans are being replaced by India and not through AI, the more likely they will be ending services with VZ
They do work at 1/3 the cost, but they only work 1/3 of the work.
Verizon is out of real $$$.
The emperor is na--d.
The thinking is that US teams close to the business can leverage AI and deliver better outcomes. It may or may not work out that way but that is why the cost arbitrage of Indian labor is losing it's advantage.
I'm hoping all you job stealing, smelly, scamming fu----s get the ax.
Something is off when India gets impacted. They are the cheaper cost and getting rid of them isn't financially sound but probably a strategic direction the company might be considering for that particular group.
@a1 or is it a matter of quality?
They have been impacted most recently too which is more than odd cause they do work at 1/3 the cost
