Has anyone received their release notice? My separation date is September 4th but wondering if there is verbiage about not starting a new job for a certain time frame...curious what is in this release...

@OP Anytime you want after you last working day. At that point it is none of their business. Don’t ask and don’t tell, you’ll be fine.
@de Thank you! As soon as my VSP was approved, I started looking for new opportunities....
I ultimately accepted an entry-level recruiting position, which is actually the direction I’ve been wanting to take for quite some time. I’m really excited about this next chapter, the timing was perfect😊
what type of work have you found work in? I'm curious are you nurse, IT, CSR? Congrats on the new opportunities.
@c9 Congratulations! I'm hoping for some successful interviews. If I'm being honest, I started searching for a new job after it was announced that there would be layoffs.
@c9 I was asking if anyone who is already gone has seen the verbiage.
@OP The reasonable assumption is that you can start a new job anytime after your separation date. However, nothing can be assumed at this point considering the recent flip flopping and play on verbiage. I would reach out to HR to confirm (and make sure to document when and who provided this information). Always, always, always cover your A**.
Whoa whoa what? We’re not able to start a new job until a certain date? I heard that was just a rumor! I have a position lined up after 9/4!!!!!.
@OP Same. No information yet.
