Verizon paid employees, can we come together and do more. We can cry about an infinite number of reasons why the work is hard, yet we stay and we quit putting in any effort. Since we are stuck together at work, do we have the professionalism to help each other, or are we going to pout and refuse to put in any effort? We can avoid RIF, but a collective lack of effort only provides the company reasoning for further RIF and rebadging.

I’m cruisin until I get stability
I can't come together with any of my selfish team mates who do very little work and expect me to help them solve some of their troubles, but never return the favor when I need help.
@cp 100% accurate. Management will use dump most work on the competent few, taking advantage of their blood, sweat and tears for bigger bonuses while they chill behind the scenes with the lazy boot li---rs. It's best to be just as lazy as the laziest boot li---rs.
So long as no one says No, it will never stop.
How am I supposed to work well with others when I’m treading water with the extra workload of my fallen comrades?
Hard work only gets you more work and the same chances as anyone else to get RIF'd. Don't be so naive. Those with connections with people in high places will reap all the benefits.
Work hard as you want to it doesn't matter. They will RIF you anyway. You do not matter to them at all. Wake the F Up!
90% of leaders (AVP+) have never managed a business, just their careers. It shows. They are purely managing the message and if things go wrong, finding an underling to pin it on.
@ab NFW. Please stop.
The other day I got yelled at by my manager for helping a contractor. The system we are put in do not incentivize us to come together to help sell more subscriptions or make network more stable. However, she did say I need a plan and any plan to start any work.
This started a snowball, a plan to get the heck out and rebuild a business with like minded people of what not to do. I'm not serving anymore lazy managers.
The Verizon culture prohibits professionalism, meritocracy. The culture is purely to reset balance sheet, hire new CEO and let rhe mergers commence.
Realistically their is not one Vz C Level Executive who will benon payroll after 2027.
you know how we can come together :) UNION!!!!! that is literally what it is for.
According to initial exit polling, the referendum is projected to fail
I refuse to help lazy people who dodge work on purpose.
There is no Professionalism in VZ. There is only Partisanism. Everyone in a leadership role has their own empire. When the time comes to down size, they don't look at competence or worth ethics. They only look at conformism. This is how it is all the way from the board at the top to the bottom supervisor.
@OP News flash. Many of 13k who left the company last December worked well with others. The company doesn’t care if you work together or not when it comes time to make numbers.
