The wait is worse than knowing. At least I'd be able to start planning my next move. But no, we have to wait another day or who knows however long.

@OP I had really hoped you would be laid off on Monday too, but we all can't get everything we want.

We had to pass on securing a home because if I'm laid off after signing the contract then we lose deposit and are faced with lawsuit. Why don't they just get this over with so we can continue with our lives.
I am really surprised that you fully put decision in O hands and wait passively to be laid off first and then you plan to start next move. You should act first and do not wait until they fire you. It is so depressive place but you need to focus on your life priorities.

You'd be better planning your next move anyway. Continuing RIFs, re-org's and pay freezes don't really inspire workforce retention and motivation.
@a4 make sure to switch your certification account to personal email.

As someone who was laid off earlier this year, I would say be prepared.
Make sure you have your own phone and laptop, and remove anything personal from Oracle devices.
Download payslips, tax documents, employment history etc to your own device / storage.
Update your CV. Start looking for another job now.
If you survive this RIF, bear in mind that there will likely be others coming.
Me as well. I’m not motivated to do anything. I’ve been looking for other jobs but there isn’t much out there.
