H1Bs won't have jobs as most are made redundant in the next 1-3 years.

Facts are - local or H1B doesn't even matter - AI is coming for the jobs it can automate.

H1Bs are temporarily being paid (for less to save the companies $$$) until they too are automated. Just like everyone else.

By 2029 they will no longer be in the country as their roles were automated. If they are in the country then they will just be part of the unemployed tech/office masses.

Totally correct. The way the US is currently governed, the people don’t matter. Pols listen to the (rich) donors. Voting districts are gerrymandered so there is no real choice. The people really have no say.

@cy @bj was just saying how it is. It's truth. If we don't like it, then we need to petition the government to change it. Yes, the G sets these policies, they always have. It's kind of how things work, doesn't make a difference if it's a democracy or a republic.

Oracle is not doing anything illegal by hiring employees on H1B1 visas. This visa category is part of U.S. government labor and immigration policy. If you have concerns or questions about it, please contact the federal government or President Trump.
