@dv we effective do not have a risk/audit department. Like they are so bad Fiserv should honestly have been sanctioned by the regulators. Good for us, the regulators are just as d-mb. Ops also just doesn’t exist, some decent people at the bottom few levels, it the top just isn’t there so nothing comes together, ever…

Governance is completely broken here. Typically in well governed company, CFO, HR, Legal and Cyber /CISO has dual report CEO and board. In Fiserv these functions just listen CEO or his followers, no strong leadership. never seen any company leader bringing so many of his/her friends with SVP titles specifically when companies financial situation is bad. Many of these guys C- players. Never built Billions $$ business, no product strategy, always got done by their friends company or they have investment in those companies. Both Merchant and FIG product heads have no idea…Too much talk, politics and no result after 18month ….

I’d say have a gander at what’s going on in risk, ops, embedded finance, audit, and the whole CGL circus. Product’s a complete dog’s breakfast — you get these bright‑eyed “builders” swanning in, making a heroic mess, then buggering off a few months later, leaving the rest of us to sweep up like the pub landlord after closing time.

Meanwhile the SVPs are legging it to whatever cushy little department their old pals can hide them in, scurrying about like rats who’ve just heard the trap click. VPs are being plonked into roles they couldn’t navigate with a map, a compass, and divine intervention.

Morale? Oh, that’s still in the gutter — right where Frank left it.

And the whole place is held together by so much one‑man risk it’s basically a Jenga tower built by toddlers. Senior management doesn’t want to hear how truly, spectacularly knackered we are — they’d rather stick their fingers in their ears and hum loudly until the building falls over.

How do you know how many SVPs there are?

Fire svp and VPs in Compliance and Network Relations. All of them are self promoters with no strategic actions, and are directly responsible for the mess Fiserv is in now. The relationship with Visa has been in shambles for a decade because of Fiserv executive and ground level folks in Comp and NR incompetence, arrogance and ignorance. Relations with lessor MasterCard not much better.
