How many workers jobs had to die for this all time high stock price? The motive behind every decision the MC makes is this number in order to pad the stock options they are given.

It's also important to remember that stock awards typically comprise 70-80% of the total compensation packages for executives. Offshoring, automation- anything that saves a buck (at the expense of workers), stands to put a significant sum of money directly in their personal coffers.
So you're telling we're all rich !?!?!
@d4 Yep, Andy didn't take over until April 2017. I miss RKD, he gave a genuine damn about us.
Stock price is up much like every other financial institution, but not at value increases seen by the bank's competitors, the dividend is flat, 52 cents a share per year, been there a long time, the long term institutional shareholders want to be paid for their investment, GK needs to look at that as there are many better banks to invest in now.
@aj In my memory that was Richard Davis.
@d1 February 2016. Look at your Fidelity account.
@aj When were these shares given? Been with the Bank 11 years.
I just switched all my USB stock, about 60k worth to SPY.
I also believe the MC is just stripping the company and this isn't sustainable.
GK would sacrifice her first born for shareholders
They’re going to continue cutting their way to a record-like year…then bail before the bottom falls out. This is NOT going to be sustainable, folks.
One day in the office costs more than one share.
@OP I still have my shares from when Andy gave all qualified employees 20 shares (which ended up being something like 12 after taxes IIRC) back in the day. Thinking it might finally be the time to cash them out and invest the money in something more meaningful. I'm certainly not "invested" in the direction this company has taken the past 20 months.
