But don't be carried away and start asking for any salary hikes. The guy will work on salary increases and perks for the exec's who are way underpaid compared to what they are delivering for the company.

I'd be very happy to get paid nothing at all - just sign off my VR application! Instead of wasting money on paying me to sit here all day just waiting for someone else to do something, which they probably won't deliver until the end of the week as they obviously don't want to admit that they have very little to do, but whilst they have the smallest of tasks are determined to drag it out.
We've got to hold onto our World-Class Executive team.
Our competitors are desperate to get hold of them, so naturally we must focus our efforts on rewards there.
I think the general workforce would be happy to go another year's salary increase in order to retain our top execs.
