Thread regarding Open Text Corp. layoffs

Let’s also include the positives here: ADM crushed its earnings this year, up 14% YoY.

Nice job, ADM. But what’s next? Core or non-core, sale or not?

Thoughts?

@34w, I do try to my job as normal but management is the problem. Changes that focus on other things that take time away from helping my customers. Overloading me with tasks that is not in my job description just so that managers can do a d_ck comparisons. Tools that fails. Unplanned outages. Irrelevant training and lack of training in core knowledge that I do need.
They should force all the managers to spend 6 months in the trenches and see what we have to put with. If you can't do my job, don't hinder me in doing my job.
Boy, am I glad this site exists, we aren't allow to vent at work anymore.

None of us know and none of us are holding our breath. We're just doing our jobs as normal.

@sr There is still work going on in the backend, purchased by a company that buys business units and runs them separately, not a big company.

ADM should replace ITOM as core and ITOM should go to non-core. Worst performing out of all core products, down YoY and performing worse than ADM.
