Rumors that they are tracking that an employee is in office not only 3 days a week but a minimum of 8 hours in the building each of those days at CHQ? Does anyone know when that starts and how they’re tracking that? We currently don’t have the badge out system yet?

Wow. That's the best way to make sure your staff hates their job, starts looking elsewhere, or starts doing online shopping while being there for exactly 8 hours. And no more. What's next, tracking bathroom visits? How infantilizing. Whoever thought of this is a bean counter, amateur manager, who is clueless about how to motivate teams. Best of luck with this hahaha
Microsoft 365 and Teams can track “productivity” across your work devices and AI makes it easier than ever to sift through the data to provide reports/insights.

@47b where is this info coming from and when is it starting ?
Looks like they are tracking if people come 4 days a week to office with mandatory 8 hrs per day at the HQ. Not sure how they will track but there are ways to measure those metrics.
@290 making us badge out
No one answered if it’s true and how they would track hours. I’m guessing it’s looking to see whether your computer is logged on to an internal network?
@10j Lol unfortunately not right now.
A challenge I see with a lot of Comcast lifers in the job market is that their resume is a mix of roles at Comcast. Sales Enablement, Business Operations Support, whatever, things that don't translate outside of Comcast.
You need to distill that down into titles people recognize. Pick a path and shape your resume to that. I was lucky to have a solid career profession with credentials, I was only at Comcast for 1.5 years.
Also, apply directly on company websites. Use LinkedIn to find what companies are hiring, and they apply on their website. Don't use the easy apply it's trash.
@dp where at? Are they hiring lol
Who is saying this?
@dp I’m really happy for you and that you landed what sounds like a great culture remote position. I think I’m in the same boat as a lot of us that are left who are applying and trying to get a break in somewhere but it’s been a mess. Almost 20 years in and I now truly regret drinking from the Comcast koolaid and staying so long and hoping the culture would go back to the times where they actually cared about their employees.
Bro start applying to other places. That’s crazy.
I'm reading this while working fully remote at a new company after being laid off from Comcast last September lol.
Going to log off early today to watch the Odyssey at lunch (at the encouragement of my boss)
You don't have to put up with Comcast lol
