Starting salaries

When I started in 2009 my first year salary was just over $100,000 which is equal to about $160,000 now. What are new hires making today?

I started as a downstream engineer at $102,000 in 2018. I'm sure that has not kept up with inflation!

Obviously depends on your role and function.

Undergrad controllers were starting at $64k in 2015.

Probably about the same. The year you start really matters. Bo-m times like 2008-2013 cause salary inflation. During bust times little to no salary treatment causes salary to flatten.

In 2019 it was just barely over $100k for most engineering degrees as well. Salary curve deflation started with new hires well before Darren
