Company is full of them unfortunately. Trading has plenty.
@em oh wait, I know a guy in our Finance that is exactly like that. Bi--hing about his team mates to the big bosses. Claiming that their boss is bad but su-ks up to the boss during team meetings. Is finance full of such people? Or is this the same person?
Ignore. Trying to outlast these people but the problem is if you don’t ally up with someone life is hard. If your here a while there is a new pecking order every few years. So you’re dealing with layers or politics that doesn’t work. I’m watching in real time in uncon. Folks are having no issues saying I’m out of here or I’m retiring . Folks loosing their power that they never had in the beginning .

We had one in the Permian AF who is now a planner in PNG. I’m not sure he even knew what a type curve was but figured out a way to speak corporate

Love this thread! This is unfortunately so true. We have a finance guy who was always talking to the female bosses and su-king up to them. But behind the scenes, the person is telling his team mates how bad his bosses are. Terrible
They will not change, so it's a waste of effort to try to fight them.
And don't compromise your integrity by playing their dirty games with them, thinking it will save you or help you.
It won't.
Find a way out.
Be like water.
Flow.
Be your own natural force, don't force against them.
Go around them, while moving into somewhere new.
Seek out and find a new job for yourself elsewhere.
Then GO!
Treat them with the same toxic attitude
