@dz
They are still retiring. 3 in my GWC in the last 2 months . Another September. He just lucked out and received an offer 4 days before he was planning to leave.
People will still retire if they know how to manage money and lifestyle.

@ea Exactly. But does the executive board, pulling in many millions every year while making bad decisions, care about this at all? We'll see.

@dz paying $10k a year for something that used to be $0.00 a year in retirement definitely changes things

@ab If you are saying people can’t afford to retire unless they get an offer, that’s pretty sad. You can’t get back time. Stop waiting for an “offer” and go live your retirement

Northern Maryland, BMET specifically, got offers for $50k + $3750 / year for both Services Techs and Cable Splicing Technicians at multiple garages. One garage got nothing and it's full of old heads.

This post shows all the talk is just talk if there is no substance. Saying $2k per year and $50k is the normal IPP

@a5 Union has a four year contract extension. If no EISP, workforce is going to be senior citizen, walking wounded.

Top secret because none are being offered, anywhere. People are retiring enmasse with no incentives to leave. People are here are smart and they know another EISP will never again be offered.

@OP No, because there are a bunch of losers on here who think the world revolves around their own garage, office or work center. Not realizing it is a pretty big company and thinking they are the only employees involved. And also most of the responses on here are rumors and bullsh-t
