The only way Honeywell will grow is through outsourcing. If you think we outsource today, boy oh boy, you better buckle up!

You think India is the answer? You are also wrong. India talent is not what it once was, and you will not get the cost savings. Companies are not willing to take the major transformational risks taking bets on alternate labor forces which are not entirely tested by other large companies.

Business as usual. I’ve been hearing this from day one. When they first announce the spinoff. You didn’t want to believe what I told you about Elliot management and how they get shareholder value.

Just drink your Kool-Aid, I’m sure it won’t be that bad. You’re too valuable. You’re not over bloated or over compensated. Your friends don’t create job jobs for you so you can make 100,000 without experience.

I’m sure you just misunderstood the phone call or the email. Elliot management totally into shareholder value. It will never fix any problems which will increase shareholder value.

Drink some more Kool-Aid and hire more of your buddies. I think their going rate is $100,000 per job. Drink more Kool-Aid and some a-s kissing. All your problems will disappear.

Reality is HT will require fewer corporate functions, and the business has bloated a lot over the years with many layers of “management”. You have a bunch of directors with no reports and little scope, directors reporting into directors, “supervisors” that are B4 but “managers” that are B3, the sub-bands that mean nothing, etc. and it’s a total disorganized mess.

@h7 In certain HSS sites, Copilot is the AI option, but we were told to uninstall it from all applications, as it is not ITAR sanctioned.

A tech company advertising itself as leveraging AI tech, but having no understanding of the tech being touted

What was telling in that call if you called in and turned on closed captioning is that VK sees reduction in Corp jobs if not every job in Hon with everyone becoming more “strategic” in the way they work. Will need to prove/show you embrace the new AI approach to doing your job.

I don’t know what this latest S4 initiative that he talked about as I was late to join the call, but sounds like the next big band wagon team to join. Remember the days of being Six Sigma Blackbelt trained?

Now that’s not to say that I’m against using AI tools at all… some things I’ve used it for at Honeywell are amazing. But it’s not the only thing that can save this company and jobs. At the end of the day, companies who win will be those that can offer not only cost savings but a personal touch to help solve problems (aka relationship building).. I fear we are going down a road here where the only answer given to solve any problem is ask AI and AI is not always right.

You asked for my thoughts...I don't believe many will appreciate my thoughts, but they are honest.

I also do not care in the least about downvotes (Hello "management" and "HR", I'm waving to you with one finger, you know which one).

I know that management is very deceptive, clouding the the truth of their problems behind a haze of bullsh-t. The "supply chain issues" wouldn't be an issue if the company paid their suppliers on time and didn't make them wait for 6+ MONTHS for payment (a well known fact at the Aerospace location that I previously worked at).

This is the result of management's decision to outsource almost everything. We used to have an excellent team capable of manufacturing very complex components, but management thought they could do things better. WRONG!! Many talented people left because of this. Congratulations!!

Their stock prices are my personal joke. It a joke that gets funnier every day!! I can't wait for HON and HONA Q3 earnings calls!!
